Flexing our work muscles

National daily newspaper Metro has a nice article on the fresh approach to work culture at our Calgary office. What’s different and/or great about Woodruff Sweitzer? There are the amenities: gourmet kitchen, comfy couches, TVs, an art installation – Metro says, “you might mistake the place for a giant loft apartment.”

And then, more importantly, there’s how we do things: we have flexible work hours and dogs are welcome in the office. Plus there’s the option to work away from the office; it’s called “Workshifting,“ and it means employees can work at home, a coffee shop – anywhere with Internet access. The idea is to create an environment for maximum productivity, creativity and work satisfaction, in or out of the office.
